Alexander Chapman MRICS is a qualified chartered surveyor and experienced property and land consultant with over a decade in the industry.
Alexander studied at Harper Adams University in Shropshire, graduating in 2013 and completing a postgraduate qualification accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2014. He began his career with national real estate advisors Strutt and Parker, where he qualified as a chartered surveyor and gained valuable experience in property valuation, land management, and strategic advice.
In 2018, Alexander joined a respected local firm of estate agents and surveyors in Essex, where he rose to the role of Equity Partner. During this time, he provided expert advice across Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, and occasionally Hertfordshire, becoming a trusted advisor to landowners, developers, and property investors.
In 2025, Alexander founded Cottrells Property, driven by his vision to deliver high-quality advice based on professionalism, integrity, and continuity. His goal is to offer clients clear, honest guidance, using a modern yet personal approach to property consultancy.
Away from work, Alexander enjoys spending time with his young family, playing squash, attempting golf, and following jump racing, with an annual trip to Cheltenham Festival being a calendar highlight.
